Abstract (EN)
Paratuberculosis is characterized by transmural enteritis with a chronic course, especially seen in ruminants that causes economic losses all over the world. Mannose binding lectin; thats provides opsonization of pathogenic agents and provides phagocytosis by macrophages by activating the complement system through the lectin pathway. Ostopontin is a nitrogen-bound glycosylated protein that plays a role in many physiological and pathological events, including preservation of tissue unity, regeneration, and chemotactic effect in chronic and granulomatous inflammations. It regulates macrophage infiltration in the inflammatory reaction. Histopathological, Ziehl-Neelsen and immunohistochemical method findings of the tissues used in the study were recorded and semi-quantitative and statistical analysis evaluations were made. In this study; the histopathology of Paratuberculosis disease in goats was presented in detail, and the expressions of Osteopontin and Mannose Binding Lectin in Paratuberculosis disease, their roles in the pathogenesis of the disease and the relationship between these two markers were shown with using these findings
