Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is aimed to discuss how the concept of Levh-i Mahfûz is interpreted in Kelam history and how the cults are shaped in relation with Quran. The importance of the phrase Levh-i Mahfûz, which appears only in one aya in Holy Quran, is grounded in the meaning ascribed to it throughout the history. The richness of Levh-i Mahfûz in meaning comes from some other phrases that can be seen in Quran and Hadith literature. Therefore, the phrase of Levh-i Mahfûz has a large scale of meaning. Quran, the main resource of Islam, is found to be in the positions of Levh-i Mahfûz before it is introduced. The topic of how Quran ontologically existed in this position triggers the discussion of Halku'l-Quran. This thesis mainly aims to show the role of Levh-i Mahfûz and what it corresponds to, which sustained its popularity in every era of Islamic consideration/opinion history. In this thesis, the writer benefits not only from Quran, hadith books and classical Islamic works but also from books, dissertations and articles that are written out in the modern era.
