Abstract (EN)
This study examines the eighth volume of the ten-volume work 'Kemal-name-i Dugumlu Baba' written by Ismail Sadik Kemal, a calligrapher, poet and statesman who lived between 1828 and 1892, which focuses on the life and miracles of Hadji Hafiz Mustafa Efendi, known as Dugumlu Baba. The text of the mentioned hagiography was transcribed and its content was examined. The thesis consists of three main chapters. The first chapter is about the life and works of the author Ismail Sadik Kemal Pasha and consists of two subheadings. In the first subheading, Ismail Sadik Kemal's family, education and working life are mentioned. In the second sub-heading, other works of Ismail Sadik Kemal are given. In the second chapter, the work is analysed under the main title of 'Kemal-name-i Dugumlu Baba with two subheadings as 'Form Features of the Work' and 'Content Features of the Work'. The work has been analysed in terms of language and style and the sufi concepts and discussions it contains have been tried to be determined under subheadings. The final part, the third, contains information on the methods and procedures used in the preparation of the text, the principles of publication and the full transcribed text of the work.
