Examining preparatory exercises directed towords vocalization in contemporary Turkish music works used in violin teaching with regard to usefulness and effectiveness

In this research, examining examples of preparatory exercises directed towards vocalization in contemporary Turkish music works used in violin teaching are dealt with regards to usefulness and effectiveness.In the first stage of it, as well as literature hatching, a poll?s taken to lecturers who teach violin in department of fine arts education in Turkey, according to the results, it?s been determined that in violin teaching very little?s benefitted from contemporary turkish music works, repertoire isn?t sufficient, there?re difficulties in vocalization, also 9 contemporary Turkish music works which are mostly used in violin teaching, are determined. Later, content resolvings at these nine Works?ve been done according to shapeness, violin techniques and tune, and found out that they?re written in song form, and tune scale and modulations, defective structures, western playing techniques?ve been used intensively. Besides, interviewing method?s carried out on bachelor?s degree of I, II, III, IV classes of violin students, and according to the results, they?ve been vocalized by very few students and have reached to a consensus that there?re difficulties in vocalization of them.In the experimental part it, to evaluate these preparatory exercises? levels, front and final test with checking groups method?re used. According to that model, checking and test group?re matched for average differences, ?t? test?s been carried out and according to the statiscal datas, meaningful differences?re fixed on arithmetical averages in experimental group,it?s been attained to an opinion that effectiveness of the preparotary exercises which?ve been formed with it, were high.Key Words: Violin Education, Contemporary Turkish Music
