Abstract (EN)
In this study, voltage regulation of the self-excited asynchronous generator was carried out by capacitor switching. In order to ensure the voltage regulation, the capacitors of the asynchronous generator are connected in triangular-parallel with different values and these capacitors are switched on and off with the help of relays. The required minimum capacitor value and increment values were determined by calculating from the free and short circuit tests. In the experimental study, the value of the capacitor to be connected to the asynchronous generator was calculated by ANFIS and least squares method and these two methods were compared. The ANFIS method with low error rate was chosen and was carried out with a microcontroller. With the ANFIS based control system, voltage regulation of the asynchronous generator is automatically performed.
