Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, a traffic flow model which give information on to drivers about traffic in roads in order to prevent traffic jams in urban traffic network, modeled with the software, ARENA 21. In addition, the results were examined by means of this software. First of all, general information about traffic system and the case studies on the modeling on traffic flows was given. After that, an inter-urban traffic model, which has two starting points, was assembled. Model was operated according to selection of the shortest paths criteria. According to obtained results, when the paths with traffic jams would have been informed to drivers to shorten driving time in order to decrease traffic jam, reducing in traffic jam and, saving time and fuel was determined.
