Picturalanalyses on the appearance of the term of urban and urbanization, master thesis

In the history of art, the city has been hand led with differences in its owntermsand has not lostits popularity until today. In the city-like paintings, which are examined in terms of plastic and created with in the scope of the thesis, the struggle of the human being beyond the search for beauty is examined and composed. It is a imed to reflect the inner world of immigration society by examining the lack of relation ship between colors. That existing painting sevolved like the cities which changed through out the history and their on Networks connecting the cities to eachother in the context of detailing the frame have been made an issue in the last period of the thesis period. At the time when there search was pictorially shaped, it was tried to be felt that contrasting and striking colors were at the for efront. In the developing process, the relations of colors with eachother have been cooled with gray colors in order to describe the pesimist icunder standing of the city. In the urban phenomenon brought by the industry, the variations of graytones and the dominant colors were examined and it was tried to emphasize that the society is desperately struggling to survive. The subject examined in thet hesis is divided in to fourparts in terms of integrity. In the first part, the content of the thesis is explained with short descriptions. In the second part, the history of urban culture is described and interpreted. In the third chapter, the concept of the city is explained with examples. And finally, in the fourth chapter, the existence process of my paintings is mentioned. It is aimed to create an integrity byc omparing the works of the artists I found close in the history of art with the city the mepaintings in the thesis content. Fifteen of the pictures on the subject were included in the thesis content.
