Soil, which is an important part of the terrestrial ecosystem on Earth, is the most basic natural resource that constantly renews itself on which humans live. Soil heavy metal pollution not only affects matter exchange and energy conversion, but also causes degradation and depletion of soil resources. Therefore, it causes the ecosystem to deteriorate and becomes a serious environmental problem. For this reason, the rational use of soil resources and the protection of soil are of interest all over the world. Heavy metals can maintain their toxic effects for years without disappearing in nature for years. Heavy metals can maintain their toxic effects for years without disappearing in nature for years. Heavy metals accumulate at different levels in different organs of different species. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor each heavy metal and determine the appropriate species and organs separately in order to reduce heavy metal pollution. In this study, the change in Na, Ca, Al, Fe, Zn, P, As, B, Co, Cu, Cd, Pb, Ni, Cr and Mn concentrations in leaves, branches, bark, seeds, wood and fruits of Prunus cerasifera, Prunus cerasus, Prunus avium and Tilia tomentosa species, which are frequently grown in urban areas where heavy metal pollution reaches high levels, was investigated. As a result of the study, it was observed that there were high levels of heavy metal pollution, especially in fruits. In this case, it has been revealed that the consumption of plants grown in regions where heavy metal pollution reaches high levels as food is dangerous for human health.
