Discussion of the city and architecture on strategical tactical and operational levels

.Today, "a position" should be taken against an architectural problem/case. In order to struggle with the transforming structure of the day, "alternative/ innovative ideas and strategies" should be developed; designs should be developed which can contribute to the process of urban transformation and renewal and except for suggestion of morphological design, constitution of strategy, methodology, and theoretical structure of urban design should be aimed. In this meaning, in order to proceed the future of urban/architectural design, today, rather than to present fixed projects or works, the importance of developing strategies and strategic planning should be stressed.Any kind of change and transformation that occur in our age directly influences the practice of architecture. It is thought to be one of the ways to deal with this change is approaching to architectural design, design and representation strategically and constituting the strategies by developing tactics; enabling the converting these tactics and strategies to operation.In this thesis, strategy as a concept is a design tool which on an architect and his partners' hands, tactics are tools that architect uses so as to capture strategies and also styles of using public spaces that urban users develop in time. It is come to operation, it is completely the whole of actions that describe place which is after application of design, is to put the design to operation.Today, works should be conducted on the behalf of advancing of "strategical planning and design on architecture" which is being debated with a title that "Strategic Architecture." In this study, it is being kept in mind that it couldn't be achieved via just strategical design against uncontrolled, inexorably, irregular, deprived of content and form and inherently development of cities. In order to complete works of strategical planning and to develop, it should be stressed that obligatory of advancing operative approaches which render successful strategies focused future via producing urban designing tactics; it should be struggled with city on strategical, tactical and operative levels; it should be embraced that obligatory of discussing the interference to the city in this context.Key Words : Strategical, tactical, operative, urban development levels
