Lawful and executive outline in conservation of urban structure: Ankara renovation area

It is essential to protect cultural and natural existence which are not only heritage from our ancestor that transfering to the future at the same time in the world in present day. Environment, urbanization, planning, architecture, engineering, archeology, art history, law which are related to protection of cultural and natural heritage that should be researched into multi dimensional.It has been started to protect the buildings belong to ancient ages since the Republic of Turkey was founded. However, it could not have made efficient state policies about conservation of traditional structures. It has been commenced to pay attention to protection structure measure in the scope of preservation rising of late years.In our country, conservation of historical urban environment has been kept to the right with Law on the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Property. In year of 2005 with Law On Conservation By Renovation and Use By Revitalızation Of The Deteriorated Historical and Cultural Immovable Property has been aimed more active conservation of historical urban environment. But there are lots of things that has been in contradiction with these two laws.In this study; it has been tried to bring up the defective sides of Law On Conservation By Renovation and Use By Revitalızation Of The Deteriorated Historical and Cultural Immovable Property in the sample of Ankara Renovation Area.
