Abstract (EN)
Accessibility is a measure that shows the convenience of individuals/populations living in the physical space to reach and benefit from these services in the built environment. People should benefit from services area in the urban area for contributions to their lives, facilitating and meeting their needs. It is very important that the service areas allocated in the urban area in order to serve people are of suitable size and accessible. Nowadays, geographical information systems are used in determining the planning of urban service areas (plant location, capacity, competence, etc.) in planning studies. In today's planning studies, geographic information systems are not used in the planning and determination of urban services areas (plant location, capacity, qualification, etc.). Not using such tools prevents decision-makers from measuring accessibility more effectively and realistically. As a result, problems such as time and distance criteria cannot be met in the urban service areas, the population distribution cannot be made correctly and effectively, and similar problems arise. In this context, this study aims the accessibility measurement and evaluation possibilities of urban service areas will be determined with the help of geographical information systems and different spatial analysis (Buffer, Kernel density, Network service area, New closest facility, New OD cost matrix, New location-allocation, Fishnet) tools, and advantages, disadvantages, possibilities and capabilities will be revealed comparatively.
