Abstract (EN)
It has been observed that urban solid waste compost, which has a high organic matter content and rich mineral composition, has a positive effect on the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil and increases the yield and quality in plant production when used in increasing doses. In addition, with this study, it can be thought that the use of urban wastes that cause environmental pollution, which is one of the biggest problems that arise due to the gradual increase in the world population, can contribute greatly to the improvement of our greenhouse soils, where the amount of organic matter is quite low, and to the prevention of environmental pollution. Urban compost was applied in 4 different plants (lettuce, grass, arugula and wheat) at 4 different doses (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) under greenhouse conditions. At the end of the applications, the effects on plant root wet-dry weight, above-soil evening wet-dry weight, leaf macro and micro element concentration in KK0 and KK5 applications were measured at the lowest levels, and the results obtained from the KK20 application were measured at the highest values. Keywords: Urban Compost, Plant Growth, Grass, Arugula, Wheat, Lettuce
