Urban coastal use, existing manipulative of Sarıçay coastal in Çanakkale and suggestion for future condition of this coastal

At the tourism sector which developes everyday, cities which have natural, historical and culturel values, have a big contribution on the tourism and recreation activities. Although Canakkale has a natural, historical and cultural values and its geopolitic importance, it couldn?t put account on the tourism and recreation activities. At Canakkale, population rising, wrong location selection for residental, industrial and commercial activities and the other reasons like that causes visual and physical problems especially at the cities inshore structure. There is a chaotic and planless inshore using at Sarıcay inshore area. Structing, instead of natural landscaping, concrete and unformed buildings, foundations most of which belong to public and industry and commercial buildings with different characteristics take part together along the inshore. Study area is Sarıcay inshore area, which passes inside the Canakkale city center by dividing city two pieces and fall into Çanakkale Bosphores. At this study, visual pollution and changing problems at the pyhsical ecology caused by undesigned urbanization and industrialization has been searched at Sarıçay inshore area which includes and unifies natural, historical and cultural values and also which is an inshore city. In this thesis scope, urbanized inshore places re-qualified via urban planning, city-inshore-inshore area. Concepts has been searched, principles defined and with this principles, Çanakkale sarıçay inshore evolution project has been prepared. To increase tourism and recreation potential, problems at operation defined and suggestions for this problems has been offered in view of sarıcay ınshore?s values.
