Abstract (EN)

In 2012, with the emergence of the Urban Transformation Law numbered 6306, urban renewal, which has been intensively implemented in the province of Istanbul and Kadıköy region, has transformed from to parcel-focused method of building renovation due to material or legal requirements. This process, which requires rapid production, the restructuring of buildings has been directed from traditional systems to industrialized systems.Since the modern era rapid production is not sufficient in the construction sector, importance is attached to the appearance of the buildings and its surroundings. The facade selection and the aesthetic situation of facade are directed towards industrialized systems from the traditional systems in the facade applications as well. In this study, GRC based precast systems which are applied as facade products are considered despite the necessity of rapid production. It is aimed to evaluate the positive and negative aspects of the GRC based precast systems by collecting data on surveys conducted by producers, designers, producers and users. In GRC based façade system evaluation, in the questionnaire studies prepared for all actors, GRC based facade has been developed with aesthetic, visual, comfort and comfort, sound insulation, heat insulation, workmanship quality, maintenance-repair. The GRC-based façade system used in the residential buildings constructed by the Building Renovation method is investigated, the users of this system are surveyed, the results of the survey are evaluated, the results obtained by examining the positive and negative aspects are shared with producers and data are prepared for AR- GE is assumed that this structure will contribute to the development of the product.
