Abstract (EN)
Arising from the need of people to live together in the city's economic,social and political changes continuously affect the life of the city. Urbanregenaration in order to respond to these changes particularly in the 20thcentury took place on the agenda of urban planning. Urban regeneration inurban areas and in many different actors with different methods aiming at theconversion of hosting a multi-dimensional concept. With the IndustrialRevolution of the Western countries, the improvement of the working classareas of sheltered depressions, after World War II, which destroyed thereconstruction of European cities and industrial areas in recent years has lostits function re-evaluation initiatives, the development of urban transformationreveals the changing world in which, depending on the conditions. Disrepairurban centers, who have lost the function of industrial areas, residentialareas at risk of disaster, slum areas, residential areas of application areasemerge as the phenomenon of urban transformation. Over time, it?s goals,organization and management models have changed. In the case of urbanregeneration in Turkey in recent years, has become a tool commonly used toconvert a wrecked urban areas. In this study, urban regenaration, physical,economic and social dimensions of rural and urban areas in Turkey, isdesigned to examine administrative decisions made by judicial authorities.Within this study, as a result of urban renewal space is not only the physicalchanges in the economic, cultural and social changes are also discussed.The method used in the thesis research, literature research, based on thecomments and experiences on the subject consists of the examination ofcourt decisions.
