Abstract (EN)
Iraqi Turkish literature is a literature that continues from past to present. There is a poet in the Iraqi Turkish literature who uses his verses to make himself heard, as well. This poet is Kara Vahap who has found a place for himself in world literature with his poems. Poems of Kara Vahap, a poet from Kirkuk who compiled his poetry books published in various years in two volumes, are the subject matter of this study. In this study, the poetry composed by the poet in Turkish is investigated in terms of content, language, expression and form. Also seen that the poet wanted to create a home-consciousness on behalf of the next generations by reflecting the poetry of the Turkmen nation to his poems. This study, which we have divided into four parts having read the sources illuminating the period Kara Vahap lived in as well, covers the history and social, economic, political and literary relations of Turkmens, too.
