Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, to be low cost and environment friend, E-glass fiber reinforced epoxy composite was hybridized with flax fibers and practiced to low velocity impact tests. Here, glass/flax reinforced hybrid composites were produced with different stacking sequences and different angles by using vacuum infusion method. Each specimen, having been produced, was cut out by dimensions of 150x100 mm and attached to tester as fixed from four sides. Then impact was applied with 5,6 kg mass of impactor and velocities of 2 m/s and 3 m/s. After tests was conducted, dynamic response, damage modes, and mechanical properties of the materials were investigated.
