Abstract (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine the acute effects of four different warm-up protocols on some sportive performance parameters in kick boxers. Material and method: Thirteen female and 15 male kickboxers aged 15-18, who have been kickboxing for at least three years, participated in the study. After applying four different warm-up protocols, including 5 minutes of jogging (P1), branch-specific warm-up (P2), dynamic warm-up (P3) and PNF (P4) on different days, flexibility, balance, vertical jump, 10m sprint, agility, hand grip strength, kicking speed and visual reaction times of the athletes were tested. Data were analyzed with the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Results: When the warm-up protocols were examined, it was seen that the most effective protocol in flexibility performance was P3 in men and P4 in women, and P1 in both genders in static balance performance. While the most effective protocol in counter movement jump was P3 and P4 in men, P2 in women, it was P2 in both genders in squat and vertical jump. In other words, it was seen that the most effective warm-up protocol for jumping protocols in women was P2. In both gender, the most effective protocol was P2 in 10m sprint and agility performance, while it was P3 in kicking frequency speed. The most effective protocol for right and left hand grip strength in men was P2 and P4, respectively, while in women it was P3 for both hands. Finally, it was determined that the most effective method for both hands in terms of visual reaction time was P2 in men, it was P3 for the right hand and P4 for the left hand in women. Conclusion: It was concluded that four different warm-up protocols in kickboxers can affect flexibility, balance, vertical jump, 10m sprint, agility, hand grip strength, kicking speed and visual reaction time parameters in different ways.
