Abstract (EN)

Besides establishing, using and improving the landform advantages and effective processes to human life, dealing ways of problems which they cause and producing solutions are also progressing rapidly. Within this context, it is important to assess how to correlate the spatial distribution and changes of landforms with social issues and potential remedies. Especially through last two centuries, people have had an increasingly crucial impact on material transferring and landform changing on the earth, primarily thanks to agricultural activities, mining and quarrying, the construction of cities and roads. With this study, a research methodology to be used in cultural geomorphology studies was created and a study technique discussed in four sections was determined. Within the scope of the recommendations, mixed research method was used in the study. Geographical features of the research area were obtained using the quantitative research method. The data was subjected to meta-analysis and the field was defined. Land observation and evaluation were carried out using progressive and regressive research methods, and the existence of cultural areas and needs were revealed. With the help of qualitative research technique, the theory of the concept of cultural geomorphology was developed, hypotheses were created, interpretations and generalizations were made. Cultural geomorphology elements of the study area were identified through field studies. Cultural geomorphosite elements were evaluated and a proposal was made for the "Kilistra Geopark Area". Research and evaluation of the site in terms of cultural geomorphology will affect the sustainable use of the natural environment and provide social and economic contribution to the area considered as a cultural environment. Keywords: Cultural Geomorphology, Geopark, Cultural Geomorphosite, Kilistra Region.
