Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, new quinones derivatives were synthesized as a result of the reactions of 2,3-dichloro-5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone (1a) and 2,3-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone (1b) compounds and various amine derivatives. 9 new N-substituted quinone derivatives were obtained by the reactions of the starting compound 2,3-dichloro-5,8-dihydroxy-1,4- naphthoquinone (1a) and various amine derivatives, especially piperazines, in the presence of dichloromethane and sodium carbonate. The antioxidant properties of compounds (5) and (7) were examined using the CUPRAC method and the were found to have high antioxidant capacities. A new C-substituted quinone derivative was obtained from the reaction of the starting compound 2,6-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone (1b) and the compound indole (18) in water. After the reaction mixtures were purified by column chromatography method, their structures were elucidated using spectroscopic methods (MS, FTIR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-Vis).
