Abstract (EN)
Psychometric tests used in human resource management selection and placement processes can affect many different variables within the organization. One of the variables is consistency which examines one's ties with the organization. Job satisfaction, which is one of the factors affecting the consistency between the worker and the organization, is measured through psychometric tests. The aim of this study is to investigate how personality traits of employees affect job satisfaction by measuring them through psychometric tests. In this study, the effect of five different personality dimensions on nine different job satisfaction dimensions was measured on 219 teachers working in 13 different private schools in Ankara. In addition, demographic information such as age, gender, seniority and education level of the employees were examined in this context. It was concluded that conscientiousness and agreeableness were found to affect job satisfaction positively. Openness and extroversion had a negative effect on job satisfaction. Age and seniority were also found to have positive effects on job satisfaction.
