Abstract (EN)
Many works including both translation and copyright have been produced since 13th century by the written language which is based on Oğuz Turkish Language and is called as Old Turkish Language. Translations and copyright works on every discipline have provided significant contributions to make Turkish a scientific language.Kitâb-ı Esbâbü?l-?Alâmât which was written towards the end of the 15th century is a book which was about medical operations. As a medical book Kitâb-ı Esbâbü?l-?Alâmât is a work that explains treatment of illnesses by describing the symptoms and causes of them. Only two copies of this work exist in libraries in Turkey. In this study we utilized from the copy which is registered in Süleymaniye Library, Yazma Bağışlar 814/1 Muhtelit. The other copy, Kitâb-ı Cerrahnâme, is used as a supporting copy.This study includes introduction, analysis, text and index. Content, method and purpose of the study have been stated in the introductory section. Analysis section consists of three chapters: orthographic features, phonics, morphology. In the fourth section text is included and the fifth section consists of index. Definitions of words are written in general index. Frequency of usage of words has been shown in frequency index added to general index.
