Özet (EN)
This study examines the methods and techniques that can be applied to transform the classical kemençe instrument used in Classical Turkish Music into a MIDI controller and integrate it into a virtual instrument playing environment. The first and second chapters of the thesis present the aim and methodology of the study, and the findings are evaluated. The third chapter introduces the classical kemençe, electronic components, and the software used, providing an overview of their general characteristics. The fourth chapter focuses on the circuit connections of the electronic components that constitute the core of the thesis, the written codes, the software used, and their application on the instrument. This chapter also includes tables and visuals related to the conducted research along with explanations. Keywords: Classical Kemençe, Soft Potantiometer, Midi Controller, Arduino
