Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was evaluation of the clinical and radiological outcomes of the patients with acetabular fractures who had followed and treated acetabular fractures. 83 patients with at least 8 months follow-up were included in this study. All fractures classified with Letournel Judeth classification. Reduction quality and controlled radiological evaluation was made based on Matta's Radiological Criteria. Clinical outcomes were evaluated according to Modified Merle D'Aubigne Scale. Mean age in our study was 34,6 years (15-86) and mean follow-up time was 33,3 months (8-85). 67 of the patients were male (80,7%) and 16 were female (19,3%). 33 of the patient's had non vehicle traffic accidents (39,8%), 16 patients had car accident, 29 patients had falling from high (19,3%), 1 had assault (1,2%) and 4 patients had heavy objects onto the shower (%4,8). Mean time of the sceletal traction was 5,6 days. 5 patients had preoperative peroneal nerve symptoms (6%) and 1 patient had femoral nerve symptoms (%1,2). 4 patient's nerve symptoms were lost. 8 patients had hip dislocation with acetabular fracture (9,6%). 2 patients had deep vein thrombosis (2,4%) 1 patiens operated by general surgeon with bowel perforation. In 1 patiens cardiovasculer surgeons repaired superior glutal vein injury. 2 patients had revision surgery for unsuccessful surgery. The quality of the reduction, according to Matta's Radiological Criteria was recorded anatomical in 67 patients (80.7%), imperfect in 12 patients (14,5%) and poor in 4 patients (4,8%). According to Matta's Radiological Criteria which was evaluated with last controlled graphics, 59 patients very good (71%), 11 patients had good (13,3%), 5 patients had moderate (6%), 8 patients worse (9.6%) radiological results. According to Modified Merle D'Aubigné scale; 46 patients had excellent (55,4%), 26 patients had good (31,3%), 7 patients had moderate (8,4%) and 4 patients worse (9.6%) clinical results. İn our study, detected strong relationship between the quality of the anatomical reduction with stable fixation, fracture type and the clinical result.
