Analysing of communication pattern between clinical nurses and academician nurses

Nursing profession is an art and science which is consisted of the synthesis of all concepts that interests health, human and society; and evolves with the dynamic of these concepts. In addition of being an art and science, nursing is a profession formed on altruistic values which means a type of behavior aiming the happiness of others without waiting for a reward. At this point differing from other profession disciplines, nursing is on direct contact with individual and society; and provides its professional progress by the efficiency of this communication.Communication is very essential for relations among nurses as well as with patient and healthy individuals. The efficient communication between implementing clinician nurses, who are on direct contact with individuals and society, and academic nurses, who undertake educational and scientific role, is one of the most important factors which affect the progression of profession. The art and science sides of nursing profession can be hold together by means of the effective communication clinician nurses and academic nurses.This research is executed in a descriptive manner for analyzing the communication pattern between clinician nurses and academic nurses.The samples of the research is composed of 200 clinician nurses in change at university hospitals and public hospitals and 100 academic nurses in charge at school of nursing .In the light of this research; the communication pattern between clinician nurses and academic nurses is analyzed, the average scores of nurses according to their demographic features are compared and adequate offers are formed in line with the study results.Key Words: Nursing, Communication, Collaboration.
