Abstract (EN)

In this study, summer and winter wheat varieties root lesion nematodes, Pratylenchus thornei and P. neglectus and cereal cyst nematodes Heterodera avenae and H. latipons, were investigated to identify reaction, reproduction rate and the multiple resistance status climate chamber and semi-field conditions. It was aimed also to the investigation of the resistant gene sources against to cyst nematodes in plants and the changes of plant root cells caused cyst and root lesion nematodes. Within the thesis, in the experiments which the varieties were combined, it was determined that cereal cyst nematodes inhibited the reproduction of root lesion nematodes. H. avenae supressed the reproduction of H. latipons on the summer and winter wheat varieties between the years of 2014-2017 in semi-field conditions. It was determined that the Cre-1 and Cre-3 genes of the cereal cyst nematode resistance genes did not provide full resistance. It was detected that Uzunyayla, Atlı-2002, Yayla-305, Gerek-79, Harmankaya-99, Aldane, Silverstar varieties possessed both Cre-3 and Cre-1 genes. It was observed that root lesion nematodes are collectivelly fed in the cell and form fusion by melting the cell wall, cereal cyst nematodes caused to form small synctytium in resistant varieties.
