Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to determine the flora of Köklüce Canyon in the Araban in the years 2015 and 2017. In this research, 154 genera and 201 species and subspecies taxa belonging to 49 families were detected from the area. 5 of these taxa are endemic to Turkey and 3 of them are endangered according to IUNC category. According to phytogeographical regions the distribution of the area is 30.3%for Mediterranean, 16.9%for Turanian, 1.4%for Europe-Siberian and 51.4%for wide spread and unknown. The families with the most taxa are; Asteraceae (22), Fabaceae (22), Lamiaceae (17), Poaceae (16) and Brassicaceae (15) respectively. The breeds that contain the most species are; Trifolium (7), Geranium (5), Lathyrus (4), Salvia (4). Thus, this study has been able to determine the biological diversity of the area for the first time.
