Transition problem of collective economies and Poland case

Transformation process of collective economies to market economy which has been improving with relatively slow speed was accelerated with the changes of political leaderships in earliy 1990's and got into a new period which might be called as 'radical stage'. In this study, basic tendencies which emerged in radical stage have been examined on the base of Polish example. At radical stage, economic performances of countries taken place in the transformation process have been differentieted. Emprical studies brought out that big part of this differentiation came from institutional factors. In Poland, at radical stage, changes in the property structure in the direction of private sector, economic opening and deteriation in income distribution emerged as basic tendencies consistend with institutional changes. Empirical studies show that 'new private sector' development played a decisive role in economic and politic restructuring.
