Abstract (EN)
Cervical cancer, which is a severe health problem in the world, is an important reason of mortality. HPV are the cause of 84-100% of Skuamöz cervical cancers sorumludur. Cervical cancer is potentially preventable thus, providing information for the people on cervical cancer risk factors as well as early diagnosis and treatment of the premalign lesions are important factors to affect prognosis. Following the evaluation of the physical examination of the patients who applied to Gynecology and Maternity Department of Gazi University Medical School Hospital with complaints such as irregular menstruation, disüri, vaginal discharge, pain in waist and crotch, postkoital bleeding, it was decided to apply colposcopy on 60 patients. During the colposcopy, cervical smear samples were from the patients. According to the coloscopic findings from the study group, the study group was divided as 30 patients coloscopy positive and 30 patients coloscopy negative. A control group was established from 20 patients applied to the polyclinics with reasons different from HPV complaints, but complaints about breast mass and vaginal discharge as well as pregnancy demand, disüri, with the aim of menopause control, routine control and general scanning. Because they have close relation with cervical cancer, high risk group HPV type 16 and other types of HPV were analysed by using Real Time PCR method. Factors such as age, number of pregnancies, marital status, abnormal coloscopic findings, smear results and HPV prevalence is analysed by using PCR method. In our studies, prevalence of HPV and type HPV 16 have been determined. The relation of the findings with the parameters such as age, number of pregnancies, marital status, abnormal coloscopic diagnoses, smear results have been statistically evaluated. In our studies, HPV type 16 was found 6.7% types other than HPV type 16 was found 16.6% positive in coloscopy negative groups with Real Time PCR method. HPV type 16 was found 6.7% types other than HPV type 16 was found 16.6% positive in coloscopy positive groups with Real Time PCR method. In the control group, HPV type 16 was found 15% types other than HPV type 16 was found 35% positive with Real Time PCR method. There is a statistically strong association between coloscopy groups and HPV, HPV type 16, types other than HPV type 16 because of coloscopy positive groups. There was not a statistically association between marital status, PAP smear results and HPV, HPV type 16, types other than HPV type 16. It was not statistically evaluated association between age, number of pregnancies and HPV, HPV type 16, types other than HPV type 16. There was a strong association between coloscopic findings with prevalence of HPV. Real Time PCR which need advance researched is a high sensitivity method.
