Abstract (EN)
Composite floors, which are widely used in buildings recently, are preferred especially in multi-story office buildings as they provide large volumes. In addition, the use of composite flooring is common and economical in the renovation or reinforcement of old buildings as well as in new buildings, since it provides a significant advantage in the weight of the structure compared to traditional concrete floors. Due to the advantages it provides to the structure such as fire resistance and heat insulation, it is frequently preferred in buildings with high building importance coefficient (school, hospital, etc.). In this study, the potential parameters that will affect the performance of composite floors under fire were determined as span length (long or short), whether the sections are fire protected or not, and the use of different reinforcing mesh. It has been determined how much these parameters affect the performance of a composite flooring under the effect of Standard (ISO 834) fire. A new mathematical model was developed by using Eurocode design equations and Excel program while performing the analyses. Passive fire protection material was applied to the steel beam under the composite floor and analyzes were made at different beam temperatures for different sections. As a result of these analyzes, how the mechanical properties of the steel change at high temperatures was investigated. In addition, the displacements that occur as a result of the analyzes made according to different loading conditions have been determined.
