Abstract (EN)

The scope of this study; is used for the repair methods applied after the damages on the composite materials. Damage to composite materials are surface damage, layer damage, connection delamination. Different methods applies to repair these damages. Some of these methods are protective band method, with the resin filling method, filling repair method, hand lay-up method at room temperature, Pre-Preg method, fill and step patch method. In this study, the comparison of the repair methods applied on glass fiber epoxy composite material was carried out experimentally. This comparison was carried out by resin-repairing with resin capping method and then made of 0.018 mm and 0.050 mm Al foil on the resins In the filling patch method, observations were made over the filling angle and 30°,45°,60° angles of the patch were performed and their performances were monitored. In the cascading patch method, two-stage steps were created, and in the first experiment, these step surfaces were treated as 10 mm in the second 5 mm.Two different types of adhesives were used in these patches and adhesive performances were compared. In the repaired materials, tensile, 3 point bending and notch impact tests were applied. When the results of the experiment were examined, it was determined that Al coating was not effective except for sealing. In general, as a result of the joint evaluation of all data, it has been determined that it is best to apply a cascading patch in the tensile and impact forces and a filling patch method in the bending force.Repairs made with epoxy adhesive have shown more resistance.
