Abstract (EN)

The use of composite steel and concrete beams enables the best mechanical properties of the component materials to be explored, allowing for more economical structural solutions. It makes more sense to use this material as steel core beams produce expanded profiles with higher moment of inertia. Using this material will perform better in service limit situations, as they offer a higher resistance to bending using the same amount of steel. The combination of these structural systems results in composite castellated beams that balance the advantages and disadvantages of the two systems. This makes it possible to reduce the consumption of material and therefore the environmental impacts produced. The use of composite castellated beams allows beams to be obtained with higher strength than the I-shaped profiles already available in the profile tables. The main objective of this thesis is to make the theoretical and numerical analysis of composite castellated beams and to suggest the composite castellated beams of high flexural rigidity. For this, the stress distribution around the web openings of castellated beam is analyzed with the help of an example using the ANSYS program and the unsafe points in the beam span are determined. Comparison of the calculation results of beams with different configurations under the same load is included in this thesis.
