Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research; employees employed in accommodation establishments to investigate whether the perceived organizational support and emotional labor are effective in exhibiting counterproductive work behaviors and to determine whether work-life balance plays a mediating role in this effect. In this context, data were collected from 691 employees working in four-star and five-star accommodation establishments in Balıkesir province. The study first examined the concepts of perceived organizational support, emotional labor, work-life balance, and counterproductive work behaviors in the literature, focusing on their relationships with each other. In the subsequent section, information was provided about the research model, sample, population, data collection tools, and statistical analysis methods to be used. In the following section, analyses of the data collected through field research were conducted to test the research hypotheses established to answer the research questions. In the final section, the analysis results were compared with previous studies, and various recommendations for research and practice were provided. The research findings indicate that perceived organizational support among employees in accommodation establishments partially mediates the reduction of counterproductive work behaviors through work-life balance. Additionally, it was found that employees' levels of emotional labor serve as a full mediator in increasing counterproductive work behaviors through work-life balance.
