Abstract (EN)

Hotel businesses are primarily for-profit organizations that meet the needs of guests primarily for accommodation, catering and entertainment. When the historical development of the hotel industry is examined, it is seen that this industry is formed in different ways in the east and west and carries different purposes. With the changing conditions and developing technology in time, changes have occurred in the enterprises. Nowadays, hotel businesses, whose service concept has changed with the effect of competition, have turned into modern enterprises that meet all kinds of needs by purchasing various restaurants, bars, shopping, beauty and youth centers as well as congress and meeting halls. Besides, quality standards have started to form. Auditing is required to ensure that standards are stable and sustainable. In this context, it is important for enterprises to inspect themselves first and then to be audited by the public. The aim of the study is to determine whether public supervision is applied in accommodation establishments in Tr82 region. Interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was applied in the study. Structured interview technique which is one of the interview methods was used as data collection technique. In the findings, descriptive analysis technique was applied. As a result of these analyzes, suggestions were made about the subject.
