Abstract (EN)

Tourism, which is the ever-growing sector has become an important means of providing economic and social development. Tourism is an undeniable reality, with the contribution of the national introduction and in terms of economic contributions. Communication plays a strategic role in the satisfaction of our guests, introducting the values properly, increasing the number of visitors, the sustainability of the tourism sector and the success of businesses operating in the sector. It seems crucial to look for an answer to the question that how important is strategic communication for a succesful organizational cummunication in tourism businesses, to touch upon related terms and to test the suggested hypotheses. In addition, management functions without interruption fulfillment is essential for the success of organizations. Aim of the thesis, is to strategically examine the communication among tourism businesses, managers and employees. The data were obtained with the help of the questionnaire method in five stars hotels in the center of Antalya that attracts the most tourists and is considered the most important destination of Turkey. This study is important both to reveal the strategic role of communication in accommodation businesses and for the general success of tourism sector. As a result: It has been revealed that there is a positive connection between the dimensions of strategic communication with transaction activity, service quality, organizations' total work efficiency, separate departments' working better with each other and operational effectiveness.
