Congress tourism and analysis perceptions of perticipants in meetings in Turkey; a research in Antalya

Word as meaning "assembly, meeting" the concept of convention, which means people in general can be defined as the collection in order to exchange information on a particular topic. For this purpose, where people always live to travel to congress destination, accomodation and to benefit the other services resulting from the event is defined as the congress tourism.Congresses are classified under the different name depending on purposes, the number of participant,content and participants` nationality. Most important of these include convention, conference, panel, forum, semposium, seminars, colloquia, meeting, workshop and the general assembly. These type of meetings provide many benefit to congress destination including economic, social and cultural perspective.Rapid development of science and technology, people felt the need meeting and to exchange more information and participation in meetings with the development of transportation facilities has been more fast and economical. For this reason, congress tourism rapidly developed and organizations that provide service in this field organized national and international level to obtain a greater share of the pie.Organization of the congress organization requires great care. The the congress organizers should have a good knowledge which organized the meeting the primary objectives and expectations of the participants and planning accordingly. A professional congress organizer should be able to response all the needs of the participants before the meeting, during the meeting and after the meeting.
