Abstract (EN)
The concept of sound can be perceived as a vibration that has existed since the world's first occurrence. Wherever human and material environments exist, there is also the concept of sound. With the existence of sound and the design of the people in line with various needs, how much the sound should be propagated or damped in the structure has also been an important issue. In this way, the concept of acoustics has become an important subject and criterion in designs. The concept of architectural acoustics has always been considered as an important detail in buildings designed from the past to the present, and has been carefully considered within the necessary measures. Countries have issued the necessary regulations to better understand and analyze the acoustic concept and designed structures within these regulations. Within the scope of the study; The classrooms, recording studios and concert halls in the conservatory volume are examined acoustically, and which materials are used in these spaces, why and why are used and explained in detail. In order to provide the acoustic comfort in the best way, the material selection and acoustic comfort parameters are considered and explained. Measurement methods used to test whether the volume provides acoustic comfort conditions are mentioned. National and international regulations were examined and compared. In our thesis, the classrooms, recording studios and concert halls in the State Conservatory of Ondokuz Mayıs University have been handled in this context, in order to evaluate the existing acoustic precautions and to increase their acoustic performances within the framework of national and international regulations, additional interventions that can be made at the first stage were determined and recommendations were made.
