Abstract (EN)
In this study, iron powder contribution to a reinforced concrete beam designed as cantilever and the effect of this contribution percentage on the moment carrying capacity were investigated. It is aimed to develop a method about cantilever beam design and implementation, and with this point of view, cantilever beams are aimed to be subjected to many tests while designing. After the studies obtained, it is thought that the knowledge level given in the regulations regarding the design of cantilever beams may be insufficient for cantilever beam elements. In this context, the effect of iron powder additive on the bending strength of cantilever beams was investigated. Experimental study of the structural behavior of reinforced concrete cantilever beams under the influence of selected parameters, ductile and determination of the effect of limit reinforcement ratio required for brittle fracture on fracture. In this method, the behavior of the reinforced concrete cantilever beam under the effect of the single load (P) applied in the end region of 32 reinforced concrete cantilever beams designed with different parameters for bending behavior was tried to be tested. In the production of the test elements, the material, cross-section, support width, cover and stirrup step distance were kept constant, the stirrup hook angle, the limit reinforcement ratio required for ductile and brittle fracture and the contribution percentage were considered variable. Formwork, reinforcement and concrete were manufactured from the experimental materials in the construction site environment. The prepared samples were cured for 28 days. A detailed literature study has been conducted in determining the subject and scope . In the light of the obtained theoretical information, the scarcity of experimental data on cantilever beams has drawn attention in the literature . In order to get the most efficient results for the decided cantilever beam bending test, it is aimed that the test setup will work as a built-in support. Experimental and analytical results were obtained and comparisons were made.
