An investigation of effects of the relationship between technological products and interior elements of houses for the user satisfaction

This research aims to determine the problems that users encounter in the relations between the technological products (in terms of their dimensional standards) like built-in cookers, ovens, computers, televisions with interior elements of houses. For that aim, the prepared research questionnaire was conducted on 128 residents with high socio-economic status (SES) who live in the Çiğdem Mahallesi region of Ankara and the obtained data are analyzed statistically. As a result, it was concluded that the majority of residents are not content with the interaction of technological devices with the interior elements of houses, that this discontent stems from mainly project/design errors along with scaling and production errors and in conclusion, it was revealed that the producers do not follow the technology sufficiently.
