Abstract (EN)
The subject of the examined research in the content of this study is a research of the principles of the modular coordination and the housing concept to provide the modular coordination in the housing design. The study consist of five chapters. In the first" chapter, generally, housing concept, it's problems and the activities of the user, building and environment that are related to this had been examined. In the second chapter, first of all, the concept of the standardization and the place of this concept in the building sector had been examined and the modular coordination as a method of the standardization had been analized. The third chapter consist of the studies that are realized in order to apply the modular coordination to the housing design, and the spatial and environmental relations in the housing had been examined. The fourth chapter consist of the principles of the design. In this section the results of the questionnaire had been analized and the criteria those are necessary for design had been determined. In the conclusion, advantages and disadvantages that are gained by applying the modular coordination to the housing design had been analized. IV
