The restoration proposal of Hediye Atarci-Ayşe Tüzün residence in Konya

In this thesis, Hediye Atarcı-Ayse Tüzün Residence, one of the civil architecture example located in Karatay county of Konya province, is selected as subject. The purpose of the study is to protect the building by examining the current situation and restoration possibilities and to search acceptable restoration actions and residence function to keep alive the building for future generations. Within the scope of this study, Konya province, neighborhoods of the residence and its current situation is examined and the original situation of it is investigated by a comparative study and historical researches. As the conclusion, a restoration project where the criteria, determined by considering obtained results, are considered with the residence's new function is proposed at implementation phase of these criteria.
