Abstract (EN)
Wastewater containing high pollution is discharged to the sewer system from industrial establishments located in industrial areas in Konya. These industrial establishments are required to purify their wastewater and meet the standards set in the regulation. However, some facilities do not build a treatment plant due to the cost, and those who do have problems in the operation of the treatment plant. This situation complicates the operation of the sewage system. Periodic samples are taken from industrial facilities and necessary follow-ups are made. However, the increasing number of enterprises complicates the sampling, examination and detection stages. Geographic Information Systems is a database that municipalities use a lot, especially for smart city applications. This will focus on the advantages of the protective values of wastewater by transferring the samples obtained from industrial facilities to the GIS database, and the maps of these results obtained through ArcGIS software. As a result, the transmission of the sample results obtained from industrial facilities by the GIS system can be beneficial in terms of detecting problems such as odors and residues throughout the city in a short time, monitoring them holistically, ensuring the operational life of the drainage system, progressing the inspections of the regions in a certain region, and making fast and accurate decisions.
