Abstract (EN)

The relation between local, rural and regional development has not been investigate because of both the political factors and not attribute to however the definitions of cooperatives in our country are examined in a very different plane. The cooperative and development issues, which were tackled separately, were examined together in this study and 'Tire Dairy Producers Cooperative' which is a very useful example in the local development plane were the subject of fieldwork. Semi-structured interview technique and Swot Analysis were used in the fieldwork mentioned above. It is possible to say that why the reason for choosing this method is to create a comfortable and divertible area for the parties while providing mutual communication. The findings of the study also prove the close relationship between the terms of cooperatives and development. The result of the study; as well as providing detailed information on the basis of cooperatives and local / regional development, it refuted the argument of relationship between political ideology and cooperatives which is created in Turkey. In addition, thanks to this study information of organizational structure and benefits of partners about Tire Dairy Producers Cooperative's way to how working. The study also includes the problems and opinions of the farmers who are not working with organized structures and also provides a comparative perspective on cooperatives.
