Özet (EN)
In this study, the abdominal ultrasonographic examination performed in healthy dogs which handled to Afyon Kocatepe University Veterinary Faculty Animal Hospital for ovariohystectomy, castration operation and general examination. The aim emphasized to determine the heart rates reflect with ECG analysis and muscle contraction in EMG data with quantitative processes. It is also aimed to reveal whether applying ECG and EMG simultaneously will cause any complications while USG application. All dogs were placed in the lateral position and the middle of the most bulging part of the M. biceps femoris muscle was shaved. After the skin was wiped with alcohol cotton, Ag / AgCl sticky electrodes were placed parallel to the muscle fibers. The distance of the two electrodes from the center to the center was set as 2 cm. For the ECG, two electrodes were sticked to both sides of the heart. After the EMG and ECG recording system was connected to the dog, the dog was waited for 5 minutes until the dog calmed down in this position. Then, Esaote My LabFive VET brand color Doppler ultrasonography device and microconvex probe that can scan at 5.0 / 8.0 MHz multi-frequencies of this device were recorded at least 15 seconds before and 10 seconds after data analysis. These signals were used in data analysis. The biosignal recording system was set for 1 channel EMG and 1 channel for ECG recording. The amplification ratio of the amplifiers was over 85 dB. The transmission band of the EMG amplifier was set to 5-450 Hz according to the amplitude analysis, and the transmission band of the ECG amplifier was set to 0.5-40 Hz. The system's 12-bit Analog digital converters were averaged 128 consecutive sampling data and transferred to the Android 7.0-based recording system. The data was then processed on a Windows-based computer with the Matlab 2018 (Mathworks, USA) scientific analysis program. As a result, the heart rates of dogs were increased statistically during abdominal USG examination significant contractions were detected in the affected muscle groups according to the results of EMG. However, it was observed that such applications did not cause any complications that would affect the patient's health. Key Words: Dog, Ultrasonography, ECG, EMG
