The effect of music education through choric works and different music activities on the musical development of secondary school 5th students

The research is a study on "The Effect of Music Education Through Choral Studies and Different Musical Activities on the Musical Development of Secondary School 5th Grade Students". In the study, it was observed whether the students at the secondary school level who had not received music education before would show musical improvement by using the ear music education method. The methods used in this study are aimed to provide musical development. It is among the aims of this study to enable each student to discover their existing talents, as well as to influence the musical development of students and their approach to music through teaching songs by ear and various activities. In the research, an experimental process was followed in order to follow a process for revealing a realistic and holistic study in a natural environment. In the experimental process, the students in the determined educational institution were taught music by ear with different music activities for 10 weeks. Statistically significant differences were found in the pre-test and post-tests applied to 19 students participating in the study. In the light of the data obtained after the experimental process stage, the findings were interpreted and transferred.
