The influence of choir`s stage arrangemant on music performance

Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this research is to study the extent of affect of traditional stage arrangement of choir and different stage structure positions of choir as a result of classical and mixed order singing styles in terms of musical results on artistic success criteria.Since there are few practices in technical structure on choir`s stage arrangement moreover it has not been examined as a scientific publishing, it is believed that the research is of importance, value and responsibility.Within the scope of research is the choir of Canakkale ?Onsekiz Mart? University, Faculty of Education, F.A.E.S. (Fine Arts Department, Music Pedagogy), that has performance in classical and mixed style singing since 2004. There are taken audio-visual records and photo shots with the work of ?Dertli Kaval? in different choir`s stage arrangements. For recording is preferred a concert hall, that isn`t suitable for sound recording in acoustic sense to get free from affects on musical results. Recording was completed in average five hours and it was performed without any repetition.Sound recording and photos were realise in six types of different stage arrangements. Records and photographs were examined by six specialized conductors by listening and photographs review. In the assessment, conductors examined six types of stage arrangement forms without knowing their structure in the first part and examined video and camera records in the second part, scored them under total thirteen titles in terms of affect on artistic success criteria and expressed their views.In accordance with data obtained, it is apparent that stage arrangement, formed with classical and mixed structure singing forms, have absolute affect on musical results in sound recording. In the light of data, it was revealed that mixed stage arrangement of voices will result in more successful sound recording than classical stage arrangement.Therefore, choirs with successful sound recordings are achieved in technical terms with mixed stage order, can get different forms of stage arrangement. So it was shown that it will be more efficient than ?classical choir order? model in traditional terms widespread it will be more affective on audience on enrichment of presentation on the stage, visual-aesthetic consequences will be achieved and successful sound recording will achieve in artistic terms in settlement orders in any kinds of stage voice orders.Keywords: Choir, Stage arrangement, Classical Order, Mixed Order.
