Evaluation of associate students attitudes to distance education during the coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic.

Distance education emerges as an important option when face-to-face education cannot be provided, in order not to disrupt the education of students in extraordinary times and conditions and to ensure the continuation of their education. In order for distance education applications to contribute positively to education systems, it is important to examine the reasons that affect students' attitudes towards distance education and these applications. Our aim in this research; How the learning success of the students who continue distance education in the conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic is affected, the satisfaction of the opportunities offered by the university to the students during the distance education process, the attitudes of the students towards the faculty members in the process, their opinions about the online exams due to distance education, the experiences they have experienced in this education model. access and communication status, the comparison of the differences between face-to-face education and distance education were examined and the results were evaluated. It is important to identify the problems in the process, to increase student interest in distance education to a positive level, to take necessary measures to increase the quality of education and training service, to examine the development of our students who receive education services, and for the functioning and planning of the country's education and training systems. As a result of our research, it has been seen that the attitudes of the students towards the distance education model applied during the pandemic process are generally at a moderate level, and there are significant differences between some departments on the basis of departments. It has been observed that the level of proficiency in using information technologies is good, there are problems with internet connection while participating in distance education, the situation of having information technology tools is good, and the financial income level of the students' families is partially low.
