Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the relationship between intervention through telerehabilitation and environmental modifications based on the person-environment-occupation model, and the developmental and play behaviors in children diagnosed with cortical visual impairment. The measurement tools used in this study were the Sociodemographic Information Form, Ankara Developmental Screening Inventory, and the Revised Knox Preschool Play Scale. Eight individuals (1 female, 7 males) aged between 48-72 months, diagnosed with cortical visual impairment, were included in the study. The study was conducted with video interviews and applied with the Person-Environment-Occupation Model. The Wilcoxon test was used for data analysis. The results of our study evaluating the impact of telerehabilitation on play and developmental skills in cortical visual impairment indicated that there were significant parameters where the telerehabilitation program was effective. According to the scales used in this study, significant differences were observed in the parameters of language cognition, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, material management, usage, construction, and attention.
