Abstract (EN)

The achievement of the welfare level of a society depends on the development of good and qualified individuals. For this reason, creating an environment where today's children, who will be productive individuals in the future, can learn their values, provide their education and provide an environment where they can develop and establish healthy relations, has great importance for the future of the society to be better. While the social structure is expected to be further consolidated, the liberal policies pursued both in the world and in Turkey, have caused a large part of our society to be unemployed or employed in non-assured jobs, live in poor conditions and not benefit from education and health services sufficiently. The family institution, which provides economic, psychological, social and cultural needs of its members without expecting anything, prepares its children for social life, gives them the cultural norms and values that they adopt, and tries to ensure the continuation of the next generation in a healthy manner, has started to disintegrate because it is unable to bear these pressure The divorce rates has increased with the poverty and the number of children who have been abandoned to the protection of the state has increased day by day. The main purpose of the study is; examining of child, family and child under protection issues and evaluates relationship of family and the child in need of protection in light of these to develop new solutions for this area. With this purpose the study consists 3 main parts. İn chapter first focuses on definition of family concept, the characteristics of the family, the effects of the family factors in the in chapter two definition of child and childhood, explaining the concept of children in need of protection, definition of organizations in Turkey that providing care services and their services and also protective and supportive precaution for children in need of protection are mentioned. Last part consist survey of the study and interpretations of the findings. Within the scope of this research, 63 children who are in ages between 9 and 18 were asked questions that created in two main issues. Family perception of children who are under protection and care of Bilecik Çocuk Evleri Sitesi ve Çocuk Evleri Koordinasyon Merkezi Müdürlüğü of Bilecik Aile, Çalışma ve Sosyal Hizmetler İl Müdürlüğü, was evaluated with questions about family and profile of institution. Data compiled from the field transferred to the computer and the hypotheses were evaluated by comparing the frequency and chi-square tests. As a result; The lack of family perception in children's worlds holds a very important place, regardless from the level of satisfaction of the children who are under protection and care from the institution they live in. Therefore, various suggestions have been made by establishing a meaningful connection between the reasons for protection and care of children who need protection and the negative impacts that they experienced and they will likely experience because of lack of family.
