The Space-Settlements With Preservation-Priority: Eastern Black Sea Region Fishing Villages This study will investigate the preservation and maintenance of nature and nature effective settlements and evaluation the criteria is purposed these examples in which nature society and architecture qualities of settlement meet meaningfully provide the people living in the vicinity, region and country with value of 'place', and presents important identity qualities. Tehese genuine locations form the special identity value together with such enviromental data as changing region, topography, flora, and climate. When tehese locations meet with a genuine living atmosphere, the space-settlements with preservation- priority become valuable In the study the relationships between coastal-rural architectural examples and nature in the Eastern Blacksea Region, their coexistance, and the genuine locations that they create dicussed in the scope of creating 'places' exhibiting special-local identity qualities and of the qualities of preservation-maintenance. The study is formed in there chapters; general information, current literature examination-field study, results and suggestions. In the first chapter the concepts and aproaches effective on the study generality mentioned hi the second chapter of the study data gained from the field study and from settlements determined in the field study, gathered and analysis and evaluation is done.
